AI Product Builder Trainee
A six-month, hands-on development programme with personal mentoring from Sunil Gupta, practical assignments, and the AI tools and computing infrastructure needed to build.

You will work in the same room as Sunil Gupta. Mentoring happens throughout the working day: discussing your approach, reviewing what you build, correcting mistakes and learning together.
Sunil typically interacts with trainees five to ten times a day and often spends around an hour individually with a trainee. These are hands-on discussions about your actual work—not just scheduled lectures or recorded lessons. The time and format vary with the task and the support needed.
Personal feedback, course corrections and group learning help you develop your skills through practical assignments. Tuotr provides the required AI tools and computing resources.
You bring consistent effort, curiosity, clear communication, follow-through and a willingness to act on feedback. You will investigate problems, build, test, explain your decisions and improve. No engineering degree, coding experience or prior AI experience is required.
No training fees. No stipend. A serious commitment from both sides.
The work

You will help understand user needs, research options, build with AI-assisted tools, test what you create, and explain what worked—and what did not.
Can you use AI without outsourcing your judgment? Bring questions, test your assumptions and take responsibility for what you create. Participation means acting on feedback and improving your work, not simply attending.

Do I need an engineering degree or experience with coding or AI?
No. None of those is required. Clear communication, follow-through, curiosity and a willingness to learn technical work are required.
Is there any stipend or payment required from me?
The stipend is ₹0 throughout this six-month internship. There are no application fees, training fees, deposits or bonds. Tuotr provides the required AI tools and computing resources.
Can I participate remotely or part-time?
No. This opportunity is full-time and in person at Magrath Road, central Bangalore. There is no remote arrangement.
Who will mentor me, and how does feedback work?
Sunil Gupta works in the same room as the trainees. He typically interacts with trainees five to ten times a day and often spends around an hour individually with a trainee, reviewing work, discussing decisions and helping with course corrections. Group learning is also part of the working day. Individual time and the format of feedback vary with the task and support needed; these are typical practices, not a guaranteed daily quota.
What are the working hours?
This is a full-time, in-person internship. The specific working hours will be set out in written terms before joining. Discuss the schedule with Sunil at your on-site meeting before accepting.
Can I show the work in my portfolio?
Work records and portfolio use will be covered in the written terms before joining. Do not assume that every assignment or piece of work can be shared publicly; discuss the permissions before accepting.
What if I need to leave before the six months are over?
There is no bond. Discuss the exit process and any notice expectations with Sunil, and ask for those details in writing before joining.
Will I receive a salaried role after six months?
A salaried role may be offered to selected participants, but it is not guaranteed. Decide whether the internship itself fits your circumstances.
Can I use AI to prepare my application?
Yes. AI tools are welcome. You are not being tested on writing without AI. Be ready to explain your choices and revise them when the facts change.
What will we discuss at the on-site meeting?
Your example of initiative and a fictional scenario: a small business wants an AI chatbot because employees repeatedly ask the same questions. Which three questions would you ask first? What might make a chatbot the wrong answer? What is the smallest useful next step? You do not need to build a chatbot or submit a separate written answer now. Be ready to reconsider your approach if an assumption changes.
What happens after I submit?
Sunil reviews applications. If your application is approved, you will receive an email to arrange an on-site, face-to-face meeting at our Magrath Road office to assess mutual fit. All discussions take place in person; there are no phone, video or chat interviews. There is no fixed response deadline. Submission does not guarantee an interview or a salaried role.
